Introducing Myself to the Pitsenbarger Families
Hello to Everyone:
My name is Shirley and I would like to introduce myself to all the Pitsenbarger Families on the Pitsenbarger Family Genealogy Forum.
First of all, I will let you know that I am the 6th Generation of the Andrew and Mary Mathis Kier Family that came from Ballymoney, County of Antrim, in Northern Ireland back in the year of 1785 and they settled in Saltsburg, Pennsylvania when they came to our United States.
My Mother is the 5th Generation of this Family and I have a Kier Genealogy Book called the "Andrew Kier Family History 1785 --- 1978".It was assembled and delineated by my 2nd Cousin, Paul E. Kier and his Wife Della L. Kier.
Our Book has "thirty" different Pitsenbarger Families listed in it, plus I have pictures of some of these families in it as well.
Here is how you are all related to us Kiers:
Andrew and Mary had 5 grown Children, named David Kier (2), Jane Jean Kier (2), William Kier (2), Thomas Kier (2), and James Kier (2).
Andrew's 1st Son was "David" (2)
David's 8th Child was "Robert M. Kier", (3)
(Robert and his 2nd Wife are my GGG Grandparents)
Robert's 7th Child is "William Lovell Kier", (4)
William's 5th Child is "Mary F. Kier", (5) and on the 1st of March in 1900, Mary married "James H. Pitsenbarger".
She was born on the 11th of March in 1870 and James was born on the 22nd of August in 1870.They were married by Judge Jasper Cox.They had 3 Children together and this is how our Pitsenbargger Families started.
I just got on your Forum, and read some postings on it and I thought I would introduce myself.I am "really thrilled" when I find new members of our Family.I have many other Surnames in my Book, also.
Take care and God bless all of you, Shirley.I hope that someone will email me back real soon. You may do so at [email protected].
