I made a mistake (probably several) in my last.When I wrote that Cynthia Hawthorne Short died in Jackson Co., Ala., of course I meant she died in (or near) Jackson Co., GEORGIA.John Short married his 2nd wife Elizabeth Garrett there before moving to Alabama.
