Re: Pitts Family Reunion

Artie, the reunion went well.There was a William Pitts in Upson or Talbot County, GA in the 1830's that may have been related to my family but I haven't been able to find a link. The first known record of my ancestors is the marriage record of Martin Pitts to Elizabeth Ray in Wilkes County, GA in 1812.I believe that Martin came from the Edgefield, SC area but I haven't been able to prove it.My DNA match is Group II.
