Don't know the parents of Elizabeth but a Jacob Ray signed a note or somehow assisted in Martin Pitts buying property in Wilkes County in 1815 I think.Have heard before that a Martin Pitts was on the 1820 Barnwell Census and tried to check it out but didn't get anywhere with it.I'll try again.Thanks, Alton
