Margaret Ellen Pitts was born in Alabama on October 27, 1855.Margaret was the daughter of John M. Pitts and Mahalia Yarbrough.Margaret died on May 4, 1942 in Talladega County, Alabama.She was the wife of Andrew Washington Dison born in Alabama on March 12, 1854 and died in Talladega on August 17, 1922.Margaret and Andrew were married on December 23, 1877 in Clay County, Alabama.They had a daughter named Carrie Jane Dison.
parents of Margaret were:
John M. Pitts born in South Carolina in 1815.He married Mahalia Yarbrough in Talledega, Alabama on February 8, 1843.Mahalia was born in Fayette County, Georgia in 1826.
