Jean, this is a part of what I have found from many records. I have a gedcom with much info that I could send you if you would like. Do you live here in Knox County? Your name sounds very familiar to me. Jacob Plough (Plouegh) and Lydia Cutright are my fourth great grandparents. Isaac Plough and Polly Holladay are my third great grandparents. Isaac and Polly had a daughter Sophia Plew (Plough) who married Thomas Washburn. They are my second great grandparents. Sophia Plew and Thomas Washburn had a son Abner E. Washburn who married Martha Elizabeth Rachel Ann Kasinger. They are my great grandparents. Their daughter Alice Josephine Washburn married James Stewart Kelly, my grandparents.
Some people on the internet are trying to connect my Sophia Plew to Daniel Plough (Jacobs brother) as his daughter, but that is NOT CORRECT.
