Israel / Srul POBERESKY (POBERJESKY) was from Elizavetgrad / Elisabethgrad / Kirovograd - area, Ukraine, Russia. He was possibly the son of Yonia and Mania.Israel / Srul married Henia DASHEWSKY / DASHEVSKY (born about 1846 - 50).I have a photo of Israel / Srul.Family letters imply he may have died in a pogrom (thus possibly 1905).

He had at least 12 children, including 1. Katia (Gitel-Perlia) 1869-1940 m. Alter TSIBULEVSKY (SIEBEL), 2. Revel 1875-1961 m. Louis BUDNISCHENKOW (CHANKO). 3. Pincho / Pinia (Peter) 1878-1950, married Varvy, then prob. Edith; 4. Sulia; 5. EVelyn; 6. Yasha / Jacob 1888-1970, married Laura SCHOR, then Ethel; 7. Yonia; 8. Pacy (possibly oldest, died young); 9. Mania; 10. Sioma; 11. Sima; 12. Michel; and posisbly others including maybe a Nathan.

I am making new discoveries often.I have lots of photos and info on several of these lines and would love to exchange with others.
