Hi Susan, My great great grandfather was Carl Pofahl from Jaget,Germany. In 1886 he and his family came to the U.S. They settled in Salem,Wisconsin. I have some info on a Albert Pofahl born in 1852. He settled in Enid,Oklahoma.I don't know if they are one in the same.
