Poissot family in Nacogdoches TX 1833-1834
Greetings from Texas...Trying to find more information about the following families listed in the 1833 and 1834 Censuses of Nacogdoches, Texas:
Silvestre Puaso (Poissot),age 51-52
Ma. Josefa Hesser, wife, age 24-25
Jose Eusebio, son, age 26-27
Juan, son, age 5-6
Ma. Francisca, daughter, age 2-3
Manuela Soto, his mother (widowed), age 76-77
Michel Sacco, age 53-54
Francisca/Fransina Puaso (Poissot), wife, age 29-30
My interest is mostly with the Sacco family and finding out which of the Poissot families the wife of Michel, who would have been born in 1804, belongs to.I find it interesting that while Michel and Francina have lived in Nacogdoches since at least 1824, the Silvester Poissot family arrives and stays two years in the same area. How are they related?
I am trying to prove Michel and Francina are the parents of my great-grandmother, Sarah "Sally" Sacco Ariola (b. 1834 in Nacogdoches, possibly after the census was taken).
Any info, even proving no relationship at all, would be most appreciated.
