Re: Looking for Reynoyel, Poland - RADOMYSL NAD SANEM ??
Reward is going to our forum friend Norbert, Radomysl is OK, but there were few places in the Austria-Hungarian Empire named Radomysl, in the present territory of Poland I find two:
Radomysl nad Sanem
So, which one? There are not open on-line genealogical records in Poland, and I was forced to use Polish censuses 1990/2002, and Polish white pages trying to uncover your Janina/Yanna/Anna Motyka's beloved place of birth and childhood, if this was one of given above here are the search results:
In the only Radomysl is still living:
1. Stanislaw Motyka & his family Motyka, Radomysl nad Sanem, Poland
2. Zbigniew Motyka & his family Motyka, Radomysl nad Sanem, Poland
Historical sources are giving this Radomysl town's description from abt 1890:
RADOMYSL NAD SANEM: old Polish town errected in 1556, parish errected in 1614, wooden church constructed in 1828, in 1890 this Radomysl counted 217 homes, and 1399 inhabitants: 923 as RC, 413 as Jewish, and 3 as Evangelicals.
Here are for your Family History Book two weblinks:
This Radomysl with Polish Wikipedia:
The possible family Motyka's ancestral church image: see from this Radomysl' webpage the fourth image going from top marked as "Kosciol Parafialny p.w. sw. Jana Chrzciciela w Radomyslu n/Sanem", the webpage top is giving the Janina/Anna Motyka's ancestors' folklore traditional costumes:
Do hope your further search will confirm our shot with this Radomysl, good luck!
