I am descended from the same Thomas Pole that your husband is descended from.I don't know what you have discovered, but his ancestors are Richard Poll (Shapwick, Somerset), George Pole (Shapwick), John Pole (Shapwick to Cox Bridge adjacent to Kennard Moore in West Pennard parish), James Pole.I'm particuarly interested in the information in James' death notice, particularly about his mother's maiden name - which you said was Collick.She was born in West Pennard and there seems to have been a lack of 'Collick's' there.
