Re: Major John Polhemus born 1738 (?) in NJ(?)

I, too, am a descendent of Major John Polhemus DOB: 1738 through his daughter Eleanor who married John Axford III.In the book "The Axfords from Oxford, New Jersey" by Wm Clinton, it states that the father of John Polhemus was Hendrick.There is no name of a mother or any additional info regarding Hendrick.
