No problem at all on the questions.I like to help people understand who the various Polks are and how they are related to each other.

1.John Polk who m. Mrs. Martha Harris - This is John Polk, son of Ezekiel Polk/Mary Wilson.
2.Clarissa Polk who m. Thomas McNeal - Clarissa Polk is a daughter of Ezekiel Polk/Mary Wilson.
3.Elizabeth Polk who m. Peter Rape - Margaret Elizabeth Polk is a daughter of Michael Polk/Susan Pyron.I am guessing the bondsman, Michael Polk, is the father.Ezekiel Washington Polk is Margaret Elizabeth Polk's 1/2 uncle.
4.Hannah Polk m. Alexander Weddington - Hannah Polk is a daughter of Charles Polk/Eleanor Shelby; she m. Alexander Green Weddington.
5.The last entry is a problem for me - "POLK, JANE & Nelson Laney, 19 Feb 1835; Peter Thompson, Bondsman, J. Stilwell, wit. Alderson, Armstead & Peggy Hutchison, 14 Jan 1803; JOHN POLK, Bondsman, Isaac Alexander, wit. Park, Thomas & Elizabeth Felts, * Feb 1798; JOHN POLK, Bondsman, J. Wallace, Wm. Potts, wit. Story, James & Prudence Gammil, 19 Sep 1797; JOHN POLK, Bondsman, J. Wallis, wit."I don't understand the entries here, that is, are there two mingled entries?The date of 19 Feb 1835 seems incompatible with the earlier dates.I do not recognize Jane Polk who m. Nelson Laney.Please recheck this entry.Later, Bill
