Sounds like your Edmund, Jr. was a brother to our Christiana Catherine "Kitty" POLKE! Our Kitty POLKE was born also in Washington Co., Pa., to Major Edmund POLKE and Mary FULTZ. Kitty married to Ignatius ABELL in Nelson Co., Ky. on 22 December, 1794. Ignatius ABELL was the son of Peter ABELL and Lucy CARMEN. Do you know more about these two children of Major Edmund POLKE and Mary FULTZ, Robert?
