Edmund POLK --PA>KY>ILL

Is anyone else researching Edmund POLK born 1772-76 in Washington Co., PA, moving to KY at a young age and moving to Cook Co., Ill. about 1833?He married Margaret Brown about 1799.They remained in Cook Co., Ill. until their deaths--1843 Margaret and 1859 Edmund.They had eight or nine children--two sons, Henry H. and Wesley, remained in Lyons, Ill area each holding public offices.
Their daughter, Mary, born 1814, married 1st to Cole WEEKS and 2nd to David LIZER.Her 1st son, William P. WEEKS, was my ggrandfather.Would like to hear from anyone else researching this family.
