I went to the library today and looked at the 10-11 books they had on Washington Co.I did not find a grave record for Virginia Polly, but did find one for Thomas Hendron 1837-1904 at Perkins Cemetery formerly Old Battle Graveyard.
I also found some records for other Hendrons at the Battle Cemetery; mentions of Hendrons and Pollys at the Bethell Baptist Church and in Washington Co. marriage records. No Thomas Hendron or Virginia Polly though.I can send you the details if you would like.It seems as though you have done a lot of research so you may already have these records.
The other thing that I found that did mention Virgina and Thomas is from a family history entry in the "Washington Co. KY Bicentenial Vol 1".It appears that families from the area submitted their histories/genealogies.This particular entry was submitted by Rosaland Hendron Hilton whose ancestors (grandparents or ggrandparents - it wasn't clear) were Thomas S. Hendron and Virginia Polly. Is this someone you know?
I would be happy to mail you the copy of the entry described above, the list of cemeteries and other books searched and the Hendron and Polly entries.
Some of the Hendrons named were Eliza, Mary J., Sidney, Benj., J.J., James, Jonah, S.C., John, Nancy Casey, Addie Bruner, Irvin Lemuel, John, Lettie, William, Nancy, Rebecca, Susan, Nimrod, Andrew, John C., John W., Mansen, Nimord, Oliver, Thomas m. to Cary).
Pollys were James, Elizabeth, Sally, Sary, John Y,. Susan.
