Joseph Pope; Sept. 26, 1828-Sept. 13, 1907

I'm looking for the birthplace and parents of Joseph Pope
and his wife Sarah J. (maiden name unknown). She was born Oct.
11, 1832, and died Nov. 19, 1885.Both died in Adair Co MO,
and had at least two sons (John Pruner Pope and Thomas Pope
1867-1940) whose descendants still live in the county.
Joseph was a Civil War veteran--served in Co. B 30 Iowa
Volunteer Infantry.Any help is deeply appreciated!
