Re: POTTER/Church of England/before 1800

Do either of you know anything about this branch of the Potter family and a gene for macular degeneration?The gene is present in my branch of the family, and we were told by doctors at the University of Michigan that they have traced this gene back to a Potter who was an Archbishop of Canterbury.If any of this rings a bell, I'd sure appreciate a response - thanks!
