Thank you so much. It might just be the right person. Since posting the query, I found that Harry/Henry Prendiville had spent some time in Montreal before eventually going to MA. It is possible that this is his father maybe with same name. The father I now believe to be English. Harry's wife may have been French...French Canadian. I also found that Harry used a number of alias names for his musical compositions. As far as I have now determined he did a lot of arranging of band music and may have used the pseudonyms for various publishers. Every little bit of information helps. I am doing the research for the Macungie Band formed in 1855. They celebrate their 150th anniversary this year (2005) and have included on their first CD a march called "Distant Greeting" arranged by Harry Prendiville. Again, thank you very much.
