I am researching a Priest line from Michigan that supposedly originated in Watertown, Jefferson County, NY.I am looking for the ancestors of Martin Priest born between 1826-1838, depending on which census you look at.I guess the cencus takers were no more accurate then than they are now.At any rate, he married Amelia Hurd/Heard of Watertown before moving to Michigan.
