PRINCE family of Tallapoosa Co., Alabama

John Pinkney Prince married Elizabeth McAlpin in 1886, in Smith Co., Mississippi. They had five children; Harrison Monroe Prince, Mary J. Prince, Harriette Prince, Orange Michael Pirnce and Leona Ann Prince. All were born in Smith and Jones Counties, in Mississippi.

John Prince died in Mississippi by 1910. Elizabeth and her 5 children had all moved to Tallapoosa Co., Alabama, area by 1920. Most lived their lives in this area.

Harrison Prince married Gettie Hawthorne. Mary J. Prince married John Matthew Bridges. Harriette "Hattie" Prince maried Coley Lee Mask. Mike Prince married Alma W. Unknown from Alabama.Leona Prince married Wylie Britt Stanley.

Harrison Prince had a son Lonnie M. Prince who moved to Berkeley Co., S. Carolina, and died in 1986.
