I was always raised being told the the Pruyne name dates back to the Dutch. That during changes in Holland the Pruyne family then went to England and France. All before coming to New Holland. Some of the first Governors of New Holland where Pruyne's.I do know that I am at least 9th or 10th generation here in the new land. Most of the Pruyne's that are related to me are from the Bingamton NY area.Of Course there is are the Pruyn's without the "e".I love to hear about other Pruyne's.Keep this up.
