Re: Prisock,Martin B-1857 Winston co Ms
I think you've finally broken my Prisock wall!!I have been stuck on this line for so long!
Just before I read your message, I found my William M. Prisock on the 1900 census for Desha Co., Ark. and discovered that his birth year on his grave marker is wrong. His marker showed birth as 1855 but the census showed he was born in 1850 which might make him the William you have listed as the son of John S. Prisock & Mary. My grandfather was listed as Ebbert instead of Elbert in 1900 census of Desha Co., Ark.
May I ask your sources and do you have more?
I'd gladly pay you for copies of anything you have to offer. My grandmother, William Elbert (Willie) Prisock was born after her father died.Willie died when my mother was only 3.So we have very little to go on except the cemetary markers at Dermott.
Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org so I'll see it sooner. You can't believe how excited I am about this.Mom has passed away but I want so desparately to uncover this line.I do have some cousins in Florida from the Prisock line but that's the only Prisocks I know.
Is this John S. Prisock and Mary, the John Solomon Prisoc and Mary Kinard I've seen so much about? There seem to be so many Johns involved in this line. It's very confusing.
Thanks so very much,
