my husband is also an ancestor to your proudfoots, we have links through marion who was born
10th march 1816 crawfordjohn, lanark scotland.Marion married our Thomas Blackley on 20th June 1836 in carstairs glasgow.Here is what i have on dates so far:
MARY YOUNG born 13.june.1813 crawfordjohn
MARION YOUNG born 10.march.1816
HELEN YOUNG born 14.june.1818
ANN YOUNG born 3.december.1822 Hamilton lanark
This is the bit where i am not sure i also have
JAMES YOUNG born 1841 Hamilton
GRACE YOUNGborn 1843 Hamilton.
