I don't know if this will help you, I've been going through the Muskingum Co., OH, Will films and came across this Will:
Will Book C page 35 presented Aug. 9,1833
written June 11,1833
Testator: William Speer
Wife: Rebecca
sons: Robert and William
Daughters: Proudfit wife of Patterson(It is written exactly this way, I even had two other people look at the name, because it was so unusual.Don't know if it is her first or last name, and no first name was given for the husband Patterson.)
The other daughters were Jane, Polly, Margaret, Elizabeth, Martha, and Nancy Ann.
William's brothers mentioned:Thomas and Stuart Speer
Executors: brother Stuart and son Robert
Witnesses: John Jamison and John Hull
Also, I noticed in the index that I have, there is a Will for a John B. Proudfit, Will Book 7 page 354.I can check this Will if you would like.
Do you know of any connections in your Zanesville, line to a Wilson line?
