Nova Scotia Proudfoot family

My father is John Proudfoot(born 1916) originally of Saltsprings, Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Canada.His father was Gordon Proudfoot and his mother was Margaret Matheson.Gordon had a brother Jim who settled in Inverness, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and was a Doctor.
My father has two brothers, James(New Glasgow, Nova Scotia) and Fred(Kentville, Nova Scotia) and a sister Helen Young(Toronto, Ontario, Canada.Helen did some geneology work several years ago which I can probably find and post later.
