Gordan and my grandfather, David Proudfoot(d. 1945 m. Agnes Dalrumple Esdale) were first cousins. Their fathers-Thomas (b.1835 d.1877 m. Margaret Irving) and John (b.1840 m. Catherine Fraser) were brothers.
