Province-1890 FIRST TERRITORIAL CENSUS OF OKLAHOMA
We found a Province Family Cemetery Southwest of Sapula, Oklahoma and few people are listed as Provinces in the 1900 or later Censuses from that area of Oklahoma. I recently found these Provinces listed fromthe 1890 FIRST TERRITORIAL CENSUS OF OKLAHOMA

I think they are connected to the Province Family from Greene, Washington Counties from Southwest area of Pennsylvania, but I am not sure.
Maybe they are connected to the Provvens or Provens Family that I am looking for around the Oklahoma, and Semihole County areas. Or maybe this information will help someone else. I am looking for information about a John Provvens or Provens that lived in that area from before 1867 to 1922.
