Re: Samuel Prowell - York, Pa.

Several Samuels in my family line. One born in 1781 -- probably not the one you are looking for. His nephew (brother Joseph's son) is also Samuel (middle initial N). (He's on Family Tree 0137, by the way) He married Sarah Reeser and they had a son George Reeser Prowell, who I believe is the Prowell that wrote a history of York Co. The book is full of information about County "celebrities" and may give you information on the Fisher/Fischer connection as well. Good luck!
