Re: Sarah Pruce of London, ENG in 1790's.
The Pruce name originates in the village of Lower Slaughter in Gloucestershire in the 17th century, and is a variant of Prowse. Concentrations are in Witney in Oxfordshire and Southwark in London. There are some other Pruces in London in the 18th century who may have come up from Gloucs. One called Sarah was bapt in the parish of Paddington next to Hanover Sq but she would have been approx 38 years of age in 1797.
Where did the Gadsbys come from? My dictionary suggests the place name Gaddesby in Leicestershire, between Melton Mowbray and Leicester.
