Greetings to all the members of the Pugsley Family!
My name is Randal J. Loy, and for the past several years, I have been researching the histories of the individuals honored by memorial gifts in the Nave of Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral, Kansas City, Missouri, the Cathedral Church of the Episcopal Diocese of West Missouri.
We have 18 large stained glass windows, and one of them, a lovely Madonna window created in 1926 by the Jacoby Art Glass Company of St. Louis, is a memorial to Sallie Belle (Sarah Miskelley) Pugsley (1855-1925).
I am hoping that one of her descendants will read this posting and contact me.I know very little about Sarah's life and would like to have more information about her.I also would be extremely excited to have a photograph of her to place in the book which is the end product of all this research.Sarah had several sons, including Edwin H. Pugsley (1893-1965), Dr. Frederic Nelson Pugsley (1883-1957), as well as Charles S. Pugsley and William Van Allen Pugsley, who were both residents of San Benito, Texas, in 1925, when their mother died.
The book is a not-for-profit project being funded solely by donations, and will not be published commercially, but rather printed privately by the Cathedral.
Please, if you have information and a photograph of Sarah (Sallie Belle) Miskelley Pugsley, feel free to contact me directly at RandalJLoy@gmail.com.
