Thank you, Andy, for the information.I have a will for Levi Marshall dated 1807, Columbia Co.His daughter Emily married John Pullen. In his will he mentions that daughter Emily is to inherit land next to John Marshall's mill. That's the only John mentioned in the will and so it is an assumption of mine that John Marshall may be a brother to Levi.Abstracts of John Pullen's will probated 1855 show his wife was named Emily. I have a copy of a notice from "The Augusta Chronicle" dated Jan 30, 1808 about William Pullen's Administrator's Sale.It shows Wm. Pullen & John Marshall as administrators. What it doesn't reflect is the Jr and Sr notation.I had assumed it was Wm Sr. who died in 1808 and Jr the administrator. Thanks for straightening that out for me.
My Pullens were from neighboring Wilkes & Lincoln Co. and I'm trying to determine how they might connect to the Columbia Co. Pullens.Do you descend from the Loudoun Co. Pullens?Do you know anything about a Joseph Pullen connected to that line? Many thanks for your help.
