Amanda Pullum was born in 1821.May have been a sister to Thomas Pullum (born 1822) in Georgia.Thomas was the father of John Drayton Pullum.Thomas moved to Dale County from Newton County, Georgia in mid-1840s as a farmhand who moved with his employer, Elijah Clark.Thomas Pullum married one of Elijah's daughters by his first wife, Sarah. The girl's name was Mahala. They had at least three children:H. K., who died at age eight or nine, John Drayton Pullum, and Thomas S. (which may have stood for Sidney). Most of these are buried at Clark Cemetery in Houston County, Alabama. The cemetery has its own website on the Internet, which you might like to check out.Am interested in exchanging information with you about Pullums.Possible sister to Amanda is a new wrinkle!
