Daniel Purcell & wf Keziah of Frederick Co., MD sons in Nelson Co., KY

Daniel PURCELL (b. 1710 - 1730) of Frederick County, MD with wife Keziah had four sons, Dennis, James, Thomas and John PURCELL.Dennis, James and Thomas moved to Nelson County, Kentucky about 1780. Dennis was married to Susanna, James was married to Elizabeth and Thomas was married to Elenor SULLIVAN and is deceased by 1810.
Thomas PURCELL (b. 1740 - 1760) served in the Rev. War out of KY in the 1780 Indian Expedition of George Rogers Clark.Daniel SULLIVAN surveyed 400 acres of land for him in 1780 which is located in present day Belmont, Bullitt County, KY.This land was deeded to his son John PURCELL while the family of his other son Isaac PURCELL obtained land nearby.Isaac Purcell d 1805 in Bullitt County was married to Rebecca Collins.
Other children:Catherine Sullivan PURCELL who married Hezekiah Lard.Susy Purcell who married Thomas Middleton may have also been a daughter of Thomas PURCELLL.
