I could sure use some help with the following --
John PURCELL, b. ca 1855 and wife Anna, immigrants from Scotland abt. 1880, settled in Jersey City, NJ according to 1900 Census. The following kids were listed: Louise (LUCY) age 13, Jennie age 8, Agnes age 5, Phil age 3.
Lucy m. Virgil BOSSOM on 29 Sep 1907 in Manhattan, NY (listed as Lucy Lillie). Virgil d. on 27 Feb 1911 at age 26. They had two sons, Virgil W and John L BOSSOM. John m. Edna Helterline in 1931 in Manhattan, NY
The widow, Lucy m. Charles James CLUFF on 20 Jun 1915 in Manhattan, NY. In the 1930 census it lists Charles CLUFF age 42, Lucy age 42, Stepsons Vergie W BOSSOM age 21 and John L BOSSOM, age 20.
Charles James CLUFF was b. 22 Feb 1886 in Chincoteague, Va.
