PURCELL Ireland>OH>TX

I'm looking for info on Thomas W. PURCELL, b. 1816 in County Wexford, Ireland; d. 1892 in Mexico. He came to US around 1851 with wife Jane, and they settled in Columbus, OH by 1854. Children: William, Redmond Edward (1854-1938), John, and Ellen. Thomas was a lawyer, newspaper editor, supposedly an OH state senator, and postmaster of Columbus. Son Redmond joined Army in 1870, later was railroad construction engineer in TX and Mexico. He married Margaret BARKER in 1880; children were: James, Anna Grace, Thomas, Patrick, Eleanor, Margaret, Hugh, Kathleen. Any info on Thomas and descendants of other children much appreicated.
