Saluda Co. was not separated from Edgefield until 1896.Have you checked for county historical society records?Have you done the deed work and confirmed the location in the part that became Saluda Co.?Have you checked to see if there was another church they might have attended?Have you done the fieldwork, or are you relying on the computer?Not everything is on the computer.I know that from the citations I have managed to collect for the Purefoys/Purifys of Craven Co., NC.I also know this from my previous incarnation (pre-retirement) as a professional genealogist and historian.BTW (as the expression goes):I'm in Lexington Co., SC.
