In reply to:

Patricia Purifoy 8/24/11
I am posting these church records in the hopes that some Purifoy researcher will also be researching some of the other names, such as Sanford Taylor and his brother Armistead Taylor. My Martha Jane Taylor (married to Greenberry Lee) is daughter of Richard and Martha Taylor who lived in Putnam County, Georgia. Richard is my dead-end:
Macedonia Baptist Church of Christ Butler County Alabama, started 1846 in the corner of south Butler where Conecuh, Butler and Covington Counties meet. (The Lee members of the church live several miles away in Westover, Covington.)
