RE:Arthur Edward Quickfall b.1874(Grandfather)
Arthur married Jesssie (?) and because they were unable to have children, adopted a son (born to Arthur's sister) and called him Edwin Lloyd. Jessie and Arthur farmed in the Gunton/Stonewall area. I never met my Grandfather as he died just before or during the war. My Grandmother was remarried long before I was born.
Edwin(Ted or Ed) served in the South Saskatchewan Regiment during WW2 in Europe. He moved to Flin Flon, Manitoba after his discharge from the military where he met and married Mary Olive Hewitt. Ted and Mary had 3 children;
Arthur(Ted Jr.), Theresa and Deborah.
My parents are both dead now and only Deborah and her daughter remain in Manitoba.
