Have found various census under all of above names for John Ralston, Washington Co.,Tn 1819, wife Ruth Salts, b. 1825. Buried in Jobe Cemetery, Erwin,Tn. One census listed her as Rufus. Children Elihue, Ike, Joseph b.1862, Mitchell (maybe second name Richard), b.1865, and Elizbeth(Betty) "adopted" by Yankee and taken North.Possible John died in late Civil War. Believe wife and 2 kids still in Washington Co. as of 1880. Moved to Erwin, Unicoi Co.Later Elihue and Ike moved to Birmingham, Alabama.Joseph and Mitchell moved to Buncombe Co., Asheville, N.C.I'd especially like to find famlies of John and Ruth but any information greatly appreciated.
