Ramages from Dunfermline - dates prior to 1797

A descendent of William Ramage and Margaret Hynd Dunfermline, I currently have certificates dating back to 1797 - the birth of James Ramage to William Ramage and Isabel Penman - I need to know dates of a. this marriage and b. anything else pertaining to this family prior to that date as I am keen to purchase documents as far back as possible. thanks
