Miles Ramay, b. 7/2/1838, d. 4/13/1928

I am seeking information about my Great Grandfather, Miles Ramay.He was born on July 2nd, 1838 and died April 13th , 1928.Family oral history says that he was born in the North, left home to fight for the South in the Civil War and was wounded at the Battle of Shiloh.After the War he did not return home but settled in Water Valley, Mississippi.He then married Martha Ellen Hill and they homesteaded land in the Lovejoy community of what is now Panola County, Mississippi.Miles and Martha Ellen had nine children.Both are buried in the Lovejoy Church Cemetery.Any information or assistance you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.
