Brad,
My notes are not as complete as I would like, but here is what I have:
From Randolph Co. NC Index to Deeds
Ramsour, Michael Bk 13 Pg 248
May 1818
"the said Henry Ramsour for and in consideration of the natural love and affection which he hath and ___ unto his son Michael & also for the better maintenance and support of him ..." signed Henry Ramsour
1830 Randolph Co. NC Census
Pg 16 L. 17
Michael Ramsower; 1M 5-10; 1M 10-15; 1M 15-20, 1M 30-40, 1F 0-5, 1F 10-15, 1F 30-40.
Pg 23 L23
John Ramsour:2M 0-5; 1M 5-10; 1M 40-50; 1F 0-5, 2F 10-15, 1F 15-20; 1F 20-30, 1F 40-50.
1810 Randolph Co. NC Census Pg 178
Henry Ramsower 1M 0-10; 1M 26-45; 1M 45+; 1F 0-10; 1F 16-26; 1F 45+
Mhl Ramsower 2M 0-10; 1M 10-16; 1M 45+; 1F 01-10; 2F 10-16; 1F 26-45
From these I concluded that the Michael Ramsour of Lincoln Co., MO and of Randolph Co. NC were probably the same, and that his father was the Henry Ramsour of Randolph Co. NC.
I'm also guessing the John Ramsour to be the older brother of Michael, b. 1789.
I'm guessing that the Michael in the 1810 census is the brother of Henry - based on ages and proximity.
Let me know if you see any holes in this or have other data indicating otherwise.
