Thanks for responding!My database shows the children listed in your posting as Cleveland's brothers and sisters.I have their parents as Joseph H. Ranes, born in NC about 1846, and, Mary House, birth date and location unknown.I have not gotten back any further on this family than that.
Cleveland's children are Felix Henry, b. 1909, d. 1973; Dorothy Mae "Dottsy" Ranes, b. 1912; Eunice Lee Ranes b. 1914, d. 1986, m. Clyde Freeman Lynch, 1929 [my grandparents]; Mabel Elizabeth Ranes, b. 1916; Mary Lucy Ranes, b. 1919, d. 1981; Joseph Henry Ranes, b. 1922; Lonnie Cleveland Ranes, Jr., b. 1927, d. 1954; and Maraget Louise Ranes, b. 1927, d. 1997.
Flex lived in Drewry, NC and is buried there at the New Hope Cemetery.I have a newspaper photo of him in regards to the first precinct in the US to report results of the 1940 U.S. Presidential election.
Lonnie and Pearl are buried at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, Ridgeway, NC. I have three pictures of Lonnie and Pearl together.
Pearl and her mother Lucy lived with my grandmother in their later years.I have a generational photo with Lucy Lee Paschall, Pearl Ranes, Eunice Lynch, and Eunice's son Roger and Roger's daugther Kay.
Lucy Lee Hilliard Paschall and her husband Henry Anderson Paschall are buried at Young's Presbyterian Church, Drewry, NC.I have one photo of Henry A. Paschall standing in front of his buggy.
