U.S. Prohibition Officer Aids Sheriff In Drive Against Bootleggers
T.C. Halbrook, Federal Prohibition agent with headquarters at Alexandria, aided by Sheriff Thomas arrested fourteen alleged violatoers of prohibition statutes, placing a number of them in jail, Friday.Five of the men plead guilty and were sentenced to pay a fine of $150 and serve 30 days in all.
