Hi Rex, thank you for replying so quickly. My Thomas was born in Dacre, near Penrith, Cumbria, ENGLAND. I do not know if any of his offspring went to the USA. His family are thus:Jane RAY b.1720, John RAY b.1722, WILLIAM RAY b.1725 Workington, Cumbria, ENGLAND, of whom I am decended from.Margaret RAY b.1727,Mary RAY B.1731,Ann RAY b. 1727,Isacc RAY b.1743,John RAY b.1746

They where all born in Workington, Cumbria, ENGLAND. Somehow I do not think we do not have the same family, what a shame. But I will keep your letter & I will always look out for any that might be of interest to you.
