Dev, what piece of work are you referring to?I can't see where you mention it, or if it is referring to another message?
I would love to know if you come across the name HAMILTON in any of this, I will keep checking back.A brother of my ancestor Joseph Boyd Hamilton lists his birth place as "Rail Cross Roads" in his Civil War paperwork-- it took me awhile to find out where the heck he was talking about.The others in the family list their birthplace as "Georgetown" which I gather was very near to Rayls Crossroads.I am going to send your message to the rootsweb board, because the researcher there interested in Rayl is the one who alerted me to what the "town"? really was.
