Do you have a copy of the Redden Family Genealogy Book that list all of James Redden's family up until 1985? It was first published in 1965 and list all of his relatives. I can not lay my hands on it right now but I do believe it list who his parents were. If you want a copy of this book it can purchased through the Hants County Historical Society in Nova Scotia. The last time I checked it was around $25.00. Good luck in your search.
