Redden Russel, was his mothers maiden name Redden?

By Cliff Russell April 01, 2012 at 02:14:06

I have been searching for info about a man named Redden Russell born in Tenn in 1813.From what I have researched, I feel his mothers maiden name was Redden. Also from another source, His uncle visited the family and was a full blooded Cherokee Indian. This is most likely from his mothers side, maybe by the last name of Redden.Redden Russell moved to Tenn. and met up with the Rattan family and took all his brothers and sister with him.I feel his parents had died and they all moved to Greene County Illinois.I feel they knew the Rattan family before they left.Redden married the Daughter of Richard Rattan.I can't find Redden's parents, nor how he died.I have spent 40 yrs working on this.Does any one have any suggestions.OH I feel they came from Hawkins county Tenn. Thanks
