Vol. 1 of the reference book: Edson, Carroll Andrew, Editor; "Edson Family History and Genealogy – Descendants of Samuel Edson of Salem and Bridgewater, Mass.," 2 vols.: ca 1969; has the following:
Fanny Edson, fourth child and second daughter of Obed Edson (#172-12) and Sarah Scott, born Oct. 16, 1822, Sinclairville, N.Y., married, 1st, Feb. 21 1841, Pine Grove, Penn., LeGrand F. Van Deusen, born in 1821, son of Joshua Belden Van Deusen and Lucia Grosvenor. He died Oct. 16, 1864, Chicago, Ill. She married, 2nd, Feb. 12, 1867, Fredonia, Chautauqua Co., N.Y., Thomas Watson Manchester, born Nov. 30, 1824, Barnet, Vt., son of Thomas Manchester and Abigail REDDING. She (Fanny) died Aug. 21, 1898, Keokuk, Iowa.
No children are reported for the 2nd marriage. I have no other information about Abigail REDDING. This is the only mention of REDDING in the Index for the two referenced volumes. Barnet is on the Connecticut River in Caledonia County, Vermont.
